http://www.mbtsanatoryshoes.com.mbt shoes, have a try ,maybe you can find what you want to have .
i have had shin splints and once i got brooks they went away. Also i hear that the new rezig’s are helpful with shin splints.
Any shoes will do as long as they are new, or relatively new. But, in my opinion the best way to avoid shin splints is to make sure you rest often, and to increase the volume (mileage) and intensity (speed) of your training gradually in order to let your body adapt.
well i’m sorry to inform you that there isnt a specific magic shoe that will take the pain away (shin splints are terrible. you have my deepest sympathy :p)
but anyway, there are ways to improve your issue.
follow the golden rules of RICE !
R-rest… take some time off
I-…ice! put a bag of ice on the area that it hurts and leave it on for 20 minutes
C- compression…compress it! lol
and
E- elevate it when you can
also, make sure you have a good pair of new running shoes. when you have no support in your shoes, that only makes the problem worse. try to keep track of how much milage you used in your shoes and go to a running store and ask a specialist if you need new shoes.
if it worsens, i’d for sure go to a doctor. i had shin slints that i never took care of (kept running and telling everyone i was okay, when i really wasnt,) but anyway i finally went to a doc for my problem and i ended up having a stress fracture. i had to wear this giant ugly boot for like 3 months.
so bottom line, your body is trying to tell you something, so you should take some notice now, before its too late.
think about your future not only as a runner, but also think about basic things like walking, or dancing etc. dont let this ruin your life.
i hope this has helped
i wish you the very best of luck with your situation!
