Yep pretty much all you said. You will build your quad muscles up a lot faster and you were burn more calories because its more exerting. And if your planning on running in a race it is good because your used to practicing on hills then when your race comes its a breeze if it is a flat course. Be careful going down hills though you can hurt yourself. I busted up my knees and shins after repeatedly running hills in college work outs.

running up a hill helps cardio wise and also helps to improve speed good for many sprinters
they also build muscles in the legs
i’d suggest jogging down sprinting up excellent workout
