I have seen a few athletes running in their sweat pants and sweat shirts for long distance training on a day that is about 78 degrees F. What does this type of training is useful for?
Does it make you any stronger?

I run track and cross country and there are coaches that actually make athletes run with sweats on. this is because it keeps your muscles warm. If a runner isnt warmed up proberly it is more likely for them to pull muscles during a race or during a practice. It also helps the runner feel lighter and cooler right before they race, which usually helps the runner calm down before a race, but mainly its to keep your muscles from tightening up,

running with those makes you lose weight because you sweat alot

it makes them look and feel silly, but they lose water weight, so they get immediate results. but they’re not REALLY results, because when they rehydrate, they’ll regain the weight. :/

    so basically, it’s silly.

It doesn’t really do anything,it just kind of helps their endurance for pain. Its a stupid thing to do….it does help warm up the body quickly but it also makes them loose alot of water so its not a good thing to do.

makes you lose weight from sweat, but if your not careful you will suffer from dehydration and maybe even heat stroke.
