i was watching some music videos and some people were doing free running, so then i youtubed that and for the past hour i have just been watching people pretty much jumping from building to building doing amazing flips without killing themselves. it’s just amazing, but i saw videos names parkour and some named free running, is there a difference?

Parkour is about getting efficiently from point A->B. Think about racing someone through a city, running away from someone, trying to reach somewhere in time etc.
Free running is about doing flips, twists, vaults etc that look good – it’s more of an art, or way to express yourself.
Many people (such as the media) don’t know the difference, and end up using the terms incorrectly all the time. There is a difference though.
Nope! It’s pretty much the same. Maybe the ones who called it parkour had special training and called it by it’s proper name or something.
I have no clue but France sucks
