Train with your parents. Tell them that you want to go run with them and just work up to a pace that is ok for you. Try to train running one mile that way your body is used to doing more and you will do better on the run on race day. Ride your bike with them too (make sure you wear a helmet!) just take a ride on the river bed it allows you to train without stopping if you want to go faster maybe see if you guys can find a cheap road bike that will fit you and go for it. You can do it train but if you are sore take a day off so you don’t get hurt. Ride about 5-10 miles so that the 2 mile bike ride also seems like nothing. The swim .. when you go to the pool instead of playing do some easy laps try doing a 200 meter (8 laps) and have your parents help you on your stroke. Triathlons are a lot of fun and once you start training and competing you will not want to stop. Have fun with it. And make sure that you eat a lot of fruit, veggies, peanut butter (if you are not allergic), and make sure that you drink something when working out that will replenish your electrolytes. Have fun hope to see you racing one day!
