I run from late January all the way through mid November. I am 14 weigh about 120. I run about 35-45 miles a week 6 days a week depending on what my coach wants me to run. I never run in the rain or snow only when it is sunny. How often should I change my sneakers? Is once a year good, or what because my dad does not want to keep buying my new running sneakers that often. Also, I have another pair of sneakers not for running so I just use my running shoes while running.

I’m a female college distance runner (18:30 5K) who wants to switch to triathlons as soon as my collegiate eligibility is done. I’ve done a couple sprint triathlons already and want to do more this summer, but my coach is very hesitant to let me cross train much. I will be running about 55 miles a week this summer and would love to add in or replace runs with a couple 30-40 mile bike rides – has anyone seen negative affects in running by adding biking? Or positive?

How can I fix my running form, because it is more of a jump than a run?

My coach told me that while I run, it is a jump rather than a run. How can I fix this? This ultimately destroys me at running and destroys my full potiential. Also, my legs are in pain and are killing me during my run, but they don’t hurt anymore when I stop running. Do I need to use my knees more or what?
