what's the difference between parkour and free running or is it the same?

i was watching some music videos and some people were doing free running, so then i youtubed that and for the past hour i have just been watching people pretty much jumping from building to building doing amazing flips without killing themselves. it’s just amazing, but i saw videos names parkour and some named free running, is there a difference?

What are good ways to practice free running?

I recently saw a video on youtube of people free running and was astonished at how they could take impacts and do flips. Im really interested in trying free running but dont know where to begin. How do you train to do flips and learn to take impacts?
