How can i start running again?

4 Months ago I ran as fast as I could..I kept running and my knees felt weak and I fell brusing my hand and knees. I couldnt move my right hand a little. Ive recovered. Everytime I run now, i have a fear of hurting my self and falling face flat. How can I get over that?

I have been running high school track (sprints, not distance) for a week and a half now. My legs were sore the first week, but in the last two days I’ve developed pain in my knees. It hurts when I walk downstairs and almost feels like it’s behind my knees. This pain is so intense that I can barely run. We have a meet tomorrow and I know I won’t be healed by then, but what can I do to minimize it and eventually heal the pain?

I really don’t like cross training that much. I have an exercise bike that cost some serious $ so I feel guilty for not riding it so much. But man is it boring pedaling and not going anywhere. Is uphill running better for your knees than flat running? is it ok to run a road that is uphill (because i dont have access to any grass hills) or will it cause injuries?

So my knees point inward and I’m hoping to start running again. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a good pair of shoes that would work well with my knees. Because of my knees I tend to roll on the outsides of my foot if I don’t pay attention, if that helps any.

I really want to start doing more exercise. I’m not overweight, I just want to be more fit. I can’t run because of my knees, or play netball. I did row but that’s in off season at the moment. I go to a private school, and not many of my friends live around my area. What can I do for fitness?

My coach told me that while I run, it is a jump rather than a run. How can I fix this? This ultimately destroys me at running and destroys my full potiential. Also, my legs are in pain and are killing me during my run, but they don’t hurt anymore when I stop running. Do I need to use my knees more or what?
