i need to learn some techniques for maintaining stamina for long distance running for a state raider competition and i’ve been chosen to run a 3 mile team-run along with 9 other team mates that have been selected. my competition is 1 week away from saturday. any tips?

I have to run 2 miles for my feild hocky try-outs. I did it last year and didnt run all summer and still made it in time. But i’m not sure about this time. Anyone have any ideas, how to run better out and things to think about when running. Like when i get tired what to do. i started running at nightso i can build it up again. but when i get a cramp, what should i do and how do i prevent tht? ALso, some of the other girls run fast in long distance, how???

I am a runner (long distance) and I want to cross train in a pool. I always feel like an idiot when I use the breast stroke. What is the best distance and activity to do in the pool to get the maximum workout? Thanks!
I’m cross training on my days off. I run 20-25 miles a week. I think that’s enough in training for a 5k
