What current running shoe is most like the Nike Huarache made in the '90's with the neoprene interior?

I noticed Nike makes Huarache models currently for other sports, but not for running. This shoe was very lightweight and hugged your foot due to the neoprene interior and I’d like to know across all brands if there is a running shoe currently made with similar attributes. Thanks.

What is the deal with running shoe manufacturers producing lower and lower quality insoles (sock liners)? Is this their answer to keeping running shoe prices (relatively) low? While shopping through Asics models, even the 0 pair had garbage quality insoles making it mandatory to upgrade to cushioning insoles, typically at a set. What is your take on this issue?

I am an avid runner who has decided to try a triathlon in 2010. Besides owning a Jamis Mountain Bike some years ago, I am a basically a novice when it comes to bikes. What type of bike would be good for a triathlon? I have a 35 mile commute to work on hilly asphalt paved trails. So, I intend to use this bike for commuting to assist with my training. Please advice on good models, special features I should look for, etc.
