CROSS-TRAINING/INJURY ADVICE PLEASE?

Okay so I was just diagnosed with a pelvic stress fracture. I probably won’t be running for at least two months. This is very, very bad because I NEED to stay in shape so that as soon as I return to cross country I won’t be too far behind before our big meets. I really, really need some good cardio workouts that don’t involve running. Swimming is the only thing I can think of, but is that enough? I’m also not supposed to bike. I am on crutches, so walking is also not an option. PLEASE give me some good cross-training advice that will keep me in shape for two months!!!!!!!!!!!

i am a junior in hs and was told i have a stress fracture. I am out for the entire cc season but will be running 100 percent in december. I also run track and my question is shod i be cross training (eliptical, biking, swimming) five days a week or would i be better off training like 3 times a week to prevent burnout? Btw the stress fracture is in the bone right below my knee on the side. I thinks its called the tibia or something. Any help would be appreciated

Is it the shoes? It’s gotta be the shoes.

Same runner, same day, with no instruction given in between videos. On the left, correct nice SHOE LESS forefoot strike. On the right, incorrect, with SHOES, heel strike, braking, straining. Sneakers are designed to affect the way our foot strikes the ground, yet in this video you see it affects what we do in the air. Try this experiment yourself. … "video analysis" gait running "proper technique" form injuries "heel pain" "plantar fascitis" "stress fracture" barefoot …
