    Totally out of sync. But having heard Trevor make the call 45 seconds earlier I was able to figure out who was where. Brave attempt Cloudy old boy.

    I love all racing but I get a chuckle that 1 3/4 miles is a marathon :) . I used to work in a steeplechase barn and they would regularly run 2 miles over fences – now that’s a marathon!

    2 miles is the minimum distance in national hunt … no test for a long-distance horse. A grand national at Aintree in the mud … 4M 4F is a proper test …
