It’s been a long time since Douglass Wakihuri won. Kibet has not only done Kenya proud by winning the first gold medal at these games, but you’ve made East Africa proud. Congratulations!!!! That race was KIBOKO!!!

Please let the word know that we made it a double in marathon, coz Cathrine “The Great” won womens marathon.
In 800m we did a double too and to crown it all ….we won our speciality the 3000m steeplchase. Na bado!!!
