    Egad, no. When going downhill land on your midsole first with flexed knees and in your center of gravity. Same for uphill and flats.

    Get a foam roller and stretch those IT bands. I’ve been plagued with ITBS for awhile and the foam roller is the best thing I have found so far. It rocks I would recomend it to anyone and everyone and I do!

    Heel striking..!!! Surely we should be looking to encourage athletes to land light and relaxed on the feet, with a ball of foot/mid-foot landing and pull up from hamstrings (rather than toe-off). This is more efficient and less likely to end in injury.
