I like this sequence of shots better than the US Open “between the legs” shot. I also think his ability to run down very tough backhands is underrated. It keeps him around longer in so many tough rallies, and sometimes he can capitalize in dramatic fashion, as he did here.

@Raz0r26 I agree, this shot is phenomenal, far more athletically demanding than the shot in the U.S. Open against Djokovic last year. How quickly he can turn defense into offense is amazing. Certainly his best shot in since at least 2007. Did you ever see the shot he made against Roddick off a smash I think in Bangkok in 2004 or 05, just as incredible.
if only federer finished this match off 2-6 6-4 6-4 that would have been magical.
