i’m 13 and my middle school is training us to run a mile (20 laps) and i was on 15 and it was 10mins……but i was counting my friend’s time and she walked the whole mile….everybody else was done but her…..

no, the fastest mile wasn’t from a kenyan, kenyans are for marathons, and i was just kidding about my mile time, i run 5:40 (16 years old)
i ment like a bunch of kenyans are BEAST runners… same with Ethiopians… i know that the current record is by hichan el guerouj… hes like Moroccan or something

damn, ive been training for a year and at best, i can do it in 7:30… wath a shame a fat kid can kick my ass… jackass
ive done well on miles since 5th grade, ive started training in 7th grade and got around 6 minutes 10 seconds then in 10th grade ive pushed to 5: 40 , now 18 my goal is to get under 5 minutes, personally i hate miles there too short, im more of distance runner cuz, the first 10 to 20 minutes are hard but after that i can go forever
sub 5 is usual for high school, esp. juniors/seniors
srry man im just saying that the smalest 190pounder ive seen doing a mile, is a 5`9” pure antibullet muscle machine… and he finished after me. nothing personal but i dont think is posible to be fat, small and finish a 1mile run under 7:00.
