In this episode of the Running Raw Project: After nearly 4 months of adding Tabata sets to his normal running regimen, Tim has reached a new level of fitness and speed. This video demonstrates what a Tabata set might look like, although any exercise that creates a maximal effort can be used. Tabata is extremely difficult and painful. Please see your physician before attempting to include it in your exercise program.

Very nice, its like doing super sets. I think I will try this. Do you also do leg extentions, leg curls or squats on the same workout routine?
@hyubgaek I would recommend any of Victoria Boutenko’s books, especially the one entitled “12 Steps to Raw Foods” and the one she wrote about green smoothies. I would also highly recommend Dr. Douglas Graham’s book “The 80/10/10 Diet.”

he should try to add a little bit of muscular mass but i think it would slow him down in races…

@hyubgaek don’t just look at one book because they’re all different, take all the reliable info you can find to make an informed decision about what to base your diet off of, just do what feels right.

tabata, tabata, tabata. tabata does this, tabata does that… wtf is tabata? looks like hack squats to me. is there more to it or is it just doing hack squats in timed intervals for four minutes??

Hi Tim,
I started the new year going from being a typical meat eating, fast food plowing, toxin filled lard ass to a pure vegan. Its been about 5 weeks now and ive lost weight but my concern is that I am very sick and my body is covered in pimples. Ive got a pretty decent bout of the flu and may need some guidance dude. Can you post some tips please.

Ohh this is Jim again. I forgot to mention that my BO is really bad. My pits smell like some wet dog… Not pretty.
i can’t speak for tim, but it sounds like your body is having withdrawal. its stressed from not having those addictive substances. ive seen this before, and it might be you too. give it time
Wow, oh god, I have to say it hurt my heart to watch that. I do hope you are getting a serious endorphin rush? You look amazing though and it’s inspired me to get back into serious exercise, so thank you.
He doesn’t look skinny at all – he looks lke PERFECTION.
trust me it will end soon. ur body is changing and it will be done soon. maybe a few more weeks tops, the pimples will disappear and the BO will stop. all of that means ur taking toxins out of ur body.
