I wish ITU didn’t draft. I would like it better. It kinda kills the need for the bike. All you have to do is draft and you can save your leggs for the run.
It’s been bothering me…do they wear shoes for the bike bc I don’t see them put any on during the transition…and then 2nd question….do they wear sock with their shoes during the run?
their shoes are clipped to the bike..they dont wear socks…elite athletes practice transitions over and over and not wearing socks is a matter of getting used to it.
I guess you have to watch more triathlon races. especially at men races there are many attacks and it’s a big matter of tactic. it’s not boring at all and it’s often not easy to stay in the group when they drive very fast or the course is very selective. it’s definitely not saving your legs for the run!
